Professional Experience

Matthew is a Director of Research at CBRE specializing in Industrial & Logistics.  He focuses primarily on insight generation and market intelligence to help guide real estate strategies, identify risks and validate decision-making for internal stakeholders and clients.

Matthew helps grow and reinforce CBRE’s thought leadership platform while leading a team of research professionals in the U.S., UK and Hong Kong. He is responsible for the production of major reports touching on critical topics to the industry, including e-commerce, technology and automation, development trends, and labor dynamics. He also serves as a CBRE spokesperson on the industrial real estate environment and engages frequently with existing and prospective clients.

During his 7 years at CBRE, Matthew produced a wide variety of thought-leadership reports that were showcased in Bloomberg, the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Bisnow, Globe Street and many others. Matthew started his commercial real estate career at JLL in Miami and worked in affordable housing development prior to that.

Matthew is a graduate of University of Illinois at Chicago where he obtained a Master’s degree in Urban Planning and Policy. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University New Orleans. Matthew currently resides in Chicago with his family.
