Mark Darrington is a hospitality industry veteran with over 30 years of hotel experience. Based in Denver, Mark and his partner, Larry Kaplan, have developed a successful partnership over the last 15 years. Having joined CBRE Hotels in 2010, Mark and Larry collectively lead a regional group of professionals that is recognized as one of the most active hospitality brokerage teams in the Mountain, Midwest and Desert Southwest regions of the U.S. The team focuses on providing hospitality brokerage and advisory services to hotel/resort owners, investors, lenders/servicers, and developers across multiple states in the region.
Mark has participated in over $500 million worth of hospitality related dispositions and related activities.
Prior to joining the company, Mark worked for over four years with a national hotel brokerage company providing transactional services for clients in single asset and portfolio sales throughout the United States. Previously, Mr. Darrington spent 11 years with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts.
Leveraging his extensive hospitality experience, Mark combines the insight of hotel operations with his analytical and brokerage expertise achieving optimal results for his clients.
