Professional Experience
Lindsey Caplan was named Chief Accounting Officer for CBRE in September 2022. Mr. Caplan’s responsibilities include managing and directing all aspects of CBRE’s Global Accounting and Controllership functions as well as the Chief Financial Officer for the Corporate Segment.
Prior to this role he served as Global Chief Financial Officer of CBRE’s Real Estate Investments (REI) business segment (CBRE Investment Management, the company’s global real asset investment management business, and Trammell Crow Company, its real estate development services business) and its Corporate Functions business segment. For REI, he had responsibility for the finance and reporting functions.
Earlier, Mr. Caplan held several different finance roles; Chief Financial Officer of CBRE’s Americas Advisory business, Senior Vice President, Global Financial Planning & Analysis, Vice President, Americas Finance, Vice President, Global Financial Planning & Analysis, and Director, Corporate Development.
Mr. Caplan joined CBRE in 2006 from Marsh Inc., where he was Vice President, Strategic Development. Earlier in his career he worked in the Transaction Services Group at PWC.
Mr. Caplan received a Master of Business Administration from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of General Studies from the University of Michigan.
