John Lashar

John specializes in tenant advisory practice for the CBRE Boston Consulting practice, representing such firms as The TJX Companies, National Grid, Boston Scientific Corporation, Wayfair, The Boston Consulting Group, Olympus Corporation of Americas, Vertex Pharmaceuticals and IDC/IDC, among others. John has implemented several global corporate real estate strategies involving office, industrial and lab/life science facilities. Additionally, John has negotiated complex transaction structures involving existing building and build-to-suits that entailed lease, own, “equity participation,” sale leaseback and synthetic lease/CTL consolidation. He is acknowledged as one of the leading commercial real estate advisory experts in Greater Boston.

John was a founding partner of Richards Barry Joyce & Partners, which was acquired by Transwestern in 2013. Prior to co-founding RBJ, he was a senior director at Cushman & Wakefield. In 26 years of advising tenants and landlords on their commercial real estate strategies, John has leased and sold in excess of 40 MSF of office, R&D and industrial space. His clients range from start-ups to large public companies.

John has received numerous honors, including being named a CoStar Top Power Broker multiple times.
