Gregory Barkan has been with CBRE since 1996. His extensive experience includes representing institutional owners, regional developers and Fortune 500 companies with the acquisition and disposition of their leased and owned properties. To date, Mr. Barkan has been involved with transactions valued in excess of $3.5 billion. Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Barkan worked at his familyowned, MAI appraisal firm where he was responsible for the preparation of appraisal reports for income producing properties.
In addition to his extensive occupier representation practice, Mr. Barkan has successfully marketed more than 5,000,000 square feet of trophy buildings in northern New Jersey on behalf of some of the largest institutional and regional owners such as: KBS Realty Advisors, STRS Ohio, Mack-Cali, SL Green, CBRE Global Investors, Utah State Teachers, and Lincoln Properties, to name a few.
Mr. Barkan has consistently ranked among the top 10% for production in CBRE’s New Jersey operation. He has been the recipient of many awards within CBRE and has been recognized within the industry with various awards and nominations by groups such as: Costar, NAIOP and Morris County Economic Development, to name a few.
