The H2 2016 Wellington Investment Marketview indicates in the second half of 2016, transaction volumes totalled $207 million in the $5+ million asset value bracket as a result of 11 properties changing ownership. The volume and number of sales are below the results recorded in the last four half yearly periods, however, when seen in the context of historical data the current result is still substantial and underlines the strength of Wellington market apparent in the last three years. However the seismic events in November had a clear influence on sales volumes.
