The CBRE Asia Pacific Investor Intentions Survey 2016 is based on more than 300 responses from across the region and provides an insight into investors’ concerns, priorities and strategies for the coming year.

Key findings for the South East Asia (SEA) region include:

  • 20% of cross border investors indicated interest in investing in SEA countries, a growth from the 17% recorded in 2015.
  • Based on this group of cross-border investors, the more attractive countries are Vietnam and Singapore.
  • Investment interest in alternative sectors appears to be high, with 61% of respondents indicating intentions to do so.
