• The vacancy rate decreased in the first half of 2019, dropping 50 bps to 6.7%. The availability rate followed suit, dropping 80 bps to 7.4%.
• The average asking lease rate increased $0.12 persq.-ft. gross since H2 2018, and has increased $1.00 per-sq.-ft. since the beginning of 2017.
• Technology consultant firm Nordic announced they will be leaving their current location at 740 Regent Street and will move into more than 50,000 sq. ft. at 2601 West Beltline Highway in the fall.
• There are just under 500,000 sq. ft. of new office projects under construction, led by the 138,000-sq.-ft. Innovation One. The property will serve as Exact Sciences new headquarters upon completion in 2020.
