The Central Valley industrial market experienced healthy transactional activity in Q2 2021 with over 2.5 million sq. ft. in occupier transaction volume, bringing the year-to-date total to 8.9 million sq. ft. Absorption totals for the quarter were steady, with 728,589 sq. ft. of positive net absorption and 771,789 sq. ft. of gross absorption, pushing the vacancy rate down to 6.7%, a drop of 20 basis points (bps) quarter-over-quarter.
