Sales volumes in 2020 have been influenced by both the supply of property coming on the market as well purchasers’ ability to engage in the Covid-19 era. While some 50% down on recent half year results at $961 million across 46 $5+ million value transactions in H1, transaction volume remains around long term trends and is ahead of the GFC era experience. Private investors are the most prominent purchasers followed by institutions and syndications. Privates are also the most prominent sellers.
