"It is with great pleasure that I recommend Barb Johnson from CBRE for your corporate real estate needs in the Greater Salt Lake City, UT market. The Lasik Vision Institute (LVI) required a Class “A” office presence rather than occupancy in a retail strip center. This former location provided great signage but caused us to occupy too much space for the current model floor plan LVI was currently employing. LVI required an efficient first floor space in a nicely appointed office building. Additional considerations included high visibility from a well travelled street with building signage Barb identified several locations meeting these criteria. She was then able to negotiate a favorable market rent in a newer building with all tenant improvements paid by the Landlord, rent abatement, as well as building signage. This task was not easy to achieve being a Tenant of approximately 4,000 square feet. Her ability to create a “win-win” situation between Landlord and Tenant allowed us to move into the premises on time and have a successful opening. We appreciated and benefitted from her market knowledge, skillful negotiation, and ability to work with all involved in the leasing transaction."
