William Parker is the Managing Director for Facilities Management for the Truist Account. William joined the company in January of 2014.
Mr. Parker oversees the delivery of Facilities Management services balancing client priorities in the areas of cost, business and operational risk for a portfolio of properties across a 17M square-foot portfolio. Mr. Parker and his team of Regional Managers, Facilities Managers, Engineering Managers and Service Engineers manage account initiatives aimed to ensure safety and compliance with national, state and local codes and regulations while striving to consistently exceed Client expectations. Team responsibilities include corrective and preventative maintenance, inspections of all facilities, overseeing account site operations and as well as capital improvement projects and conducting cost analyses supporting the preparation of capital budgets.
Prior to joining the Truist Account, Mr. Parker was the Alliance Director for the Dream Center Education Holdings (DCEH) Account responsible for the strategic direction, development and operational delivery of real estate services.
Mr. Parker has over 24 years of Corporate Real Estate, Facilities Management and Project Management experience. Prior to joining CBRE, he served as the Director of Corporate Real Estate and Facilities for the US, Canada and Latin America for the Ciena Corporation.
Mr. Parker began his professional career at Nortel. Throughout his 15 years, he served in various positions within the organization including Facilities Management Coordinator, Senior Systems Integration Specialist, Client Prime, Real Estate Operations Prime (Mid-Atlantic & Southeast Region) and Real Estate Operations Prime (US East Region).
Mr. Parker received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from North Carolina Central University graduating with honors (Cum Laude). Mr. Parker also earned his Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) designation from CoreNet Global.
