Mr. Hassan is a First Vice President with CBRE in the Saddle Brook, New Jersey office. He joined the firm in 2002, bringing 14 years of real estate leasing, sales and management experience. He specializes in occupier representation for data center clients. His market expertise lies throughout the Tri-State area with a focus on New Jersey.
Mr. Hassan is a member of CBRE’s Data Center Solutions (DCS) Practice. His primary expertise is data center site selection, evaluation and acquisition analysis. He brings exceptional knowledge on power, connectivity and risks that his data center clients require. Mr. Hassan has a comprehensive understanding of the local utilities, with a specialty on the transmission and distribution of power and with clarity on these core drivers, the most advantageous real estate solutions can be considered.
Mr. Hassan has the experience to navigate the complexities that are common in the sophisticated world of critical environments. Through the process of advising institutions, state and local agencies, utilities and intricate ownership structures, he aggressively represents his clients’ interests in site selection, financial analysis and lease/SLA/purchase negotiations.
Over his career, Mr. Hassan has been responsible for projects such as the site acquisition and development of a 14 MW build-to-suit enterprise data center and facilitation of colocation-lease acquisitions ranging from 10kW to 17MW. In recent years, he has led multi-market data center evaluations of this scope for companies such as: Bloomberg, Bank of America and Quest Diagnostics.
