Tom Halford is a General Manager within CBRE’s Asset Services group. He oversees the Central Park of Lisle property in Lisle, Illinois. Tom has been serving on-site at this location since July of 2010.
Tom has over 27 years of senior management experience in commercial property management and corporate facility management. His expertise ranges from overseeing the management of large urban and suburban Class A properties to multi-state corporate portfolios. His responsibilities include accounting, project management, capital planning and leasing. Tom has proven to be an exceptional communicator, a trustworthy leader and a mentor to the employees he supervises, as well as his peers.
Prior to joining CBRE, Tom served as Senior Vice President and General Manager at JLL for six years. In this role, he managed two Class A properties, totaling 690,000 SF. During his time with JLL, Tom also served as Regional Property Manager on the Bank of America (BAC) account. The region extended through Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin and included over 400 properties comprising 6,750,000 SF.
Before joining JLL, Tom served as Vice President of Property Management for CMD Realty Investors, where he oversaw a 40-person property management team responsible for 60 commercial investment properties in 14 cities around the U.S. Tom also served as Chief Administrative Officer, among other roles, at U.S. Equities Realty Investors, over the course of twelve years. He started his real estate career at Continental Illinois National Bank and Trust as an in-house Property Manager for its international headquarters building in Chicago, Illinois.
