Timothy C. Kuhn is an Executive Vice President with CBRE, and a partner with the Manhattan-based Cabrera team.
With over 20 years in the real estate industry—nearly all in real estate advisory and transaction execution—Mr. Kuhn brings comprehensive experience and advice to real estate investors, occupiers and operators in structuring asset, finance, and space portfolio obligations. He has been involved across the real estate product spectrum, and covered assignments in many gateway cities such as New York, London, Shanghai, Beijing and Chicago.
As a member of elite teams on matters most relevant to portfolio management, space and investment financial performance, and location selection, Mr. Kuhn has been directly engaged for nearly 8 million sq. ft. of office facilities transactions, and underwritten or advised on in excess of $5 Billion in actionable transactions value. Mr. Kuhn works with a variety of client types, from multi-locational global occupiers to nascent-state foreign firms. Among his most notable recent projects are BMO Capital Markets (US), Campari America, FACTSET, Sidley, Cindat Capital Management and Clarivate Analytics. Previously, among others he has represented and/or advised Thomson Reuters Corporation, Skanska USA, Rockefeller Development Group, Inc. (US$1.5 Billion, Shanghai, PRC) and Bertelsmann AG. Additionally, Mr. Kuhn has advised on many M&A transactions, including the WPP, PLC US$6 Billion acquisition of Y&R, as well as the Kvaerner takeover of Trafalgar Americas.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Kuhn was with Colliers International as Senior Managing Director in the New York Tristate region, and Cushman & Wakefield, Inc., where he served most recently as Managing Director. Sandwiched between his time with C&W, Mr. Kuhn spent 10 years of his career in investment banking covering both U.S. and East Asia assignments.
