In July of 2019, Sam joined CBRE to serve as a Senior Vice on the highly-esteemed Institutional Multifamily team, covering the Greater Philadelphia region. Prior to Sam’s new role at CBRE, he spent over 16 years as a buyer, principal owner and asset manager of institutional, value-add apartment properties, commercial real estate and distressed real estate debt. Over Sam’s tenured career on the buy-side, he managed transaction volume totaling over $3 billion, with a majority of those deals being multifamily.
Prior to joining CBRE, Sam was with Buligo Capital Partners, an Israeli-based syndicator focused on the acquisition and asset management of value-add, multifamily properties across various U.S. markets. Sam led the effort to open a domestic office in Philadelphia while building out a multifamily portfolio along the East Coast. Acquiring nearly $300 million of high-quality assets in a short period of time, all properties are currently earning outsized returns on investment. Prior to Buligo, Sam spent over a decade with Resource Real Estate, Inc., a private fund manager, where he was a senior member of the acquisitions and dispositions team. As a tenured employee at Resource, Sam led the charge and successfully managed over 150 separate transactions. Prior to Resource, Sam started his a career as a Project Manager for NVR, Inc, where he was responsible for the development of over 300 hundred single-family homes among various subdivisions in Southern New Jersey. Sam’s experience as a career-long buyer offers a uniquely insightful perspective for the Team’s business efforts, with the ultimate goal of ensuring and enhancing client success.
