BJ Singletary is a Program Manager with CBRE, currently serving as an Occupancy Manager focused on:
- Developing and maintaining a trust based relationship between Integrated Occupancy Services (IOS) and the Sales, Marketing & Services Group.
- Understanding the space needs of the business division at a deep level of detail.
- Interacting directly with Space Representatives and Business Managers or Real Estate & Facilities on a frequent basis to understand business strategy as it relates to occupancy.
- Understanding industry and business drivers and align occupancy planning efforts appropriately.
Manage execution of the six month migration plan and inform three year migration planning efforts.
Prior to joining CBRE, BJ served as Community Manager for Archstone Operating Trust. He began his career with Archstone in July of 2005 after its acquisition of the Oakwood portfolio. BJ managed within a portfolio of five residential assets in his tenure with Archstone. These assets ranged in size from 156 units to 422 units. Most recently, BJ was serving in the role of General Manager for Archstone Belltown, a 356 unit mixed use property.
Prior to Archstone Operating Trust, BJ had three years experience with Oakwood Worldwide at various locations in Washington as Property Manager. In this role, BJ was involved in all aspects of managing residential assets that functioned as short term and long term corporate housing.
