Professional Experience
Paul is a veteran commercial property specialist. His experience includes leasing over 15 million square feet of commercial office space on behalf of both tenants and landlords; developing and constructing over 2.7 million square feet of office and retail space valued at $1.25 billion; and acquiring, selling or financing real assets totaling more than $750 million for leading corporations and commercial real estate companies.
Paul joined CBRE in 2008 after 15 successful years with tenant rep specialist Studley. Previously, Paul was with The Walt Disney Company where he was Vice President of corporate real estate. In this capacity, he was responsible for the leasing, acquisition and development of numerous corporate office, warehouse and production facilities in Southern California. Earlier in his career, Paul was Vice President with Cadillac Fairview (later known as Prentiss Properties), a large developer of office and retail properties. Paul was responsible for the development, construction management and leasing of the IBM Tower in Atlanta, a 50-story, 1.1 million square foot headquarters office building. This landmark structure remains a premier office address and one of the tallest buildings in the city.
Paul is often called on to comment on the state of the commercial real estate industry. He is frequently quoted in premier Los Angeles business and real estate publications. He was named a “Power Broker” by one of the leading commercial real estate data services and a “Leader in Commercial Real Estate” by a local business publication.
