Paul Berry recently completed his 20th year with CBRE Atlanta where he leads CBRE’s Class A and institutional multi-family segment throughout Georgia. Mr. Berry is also a senior partner of the CBRE Southeast team where he co-leads the CBRE multifamily practice throughout the team’s footprint.
While Mr. Berry’s direct transactional activities are primarily focused on sales of stabilized and stabilizing class A properties, he also has extensive experience in early lease-up sales, pre-construction sales, mixed-use pre-development capitalization and sales, land sales, condo conversions, tax-exempt and tax-abated sales and portfolio sales.
Mr. Berry’s recent transactions include all four of metro Atlanta’s all-time largest apartment sales, each over $155 million. Mr. Berry’s transaction volume typically totals $500 - $900 million annually on a direct basis along with his involvement and oversight of the larger team’s $5 – 8 Billion in transactions.
Mr. Berry serves on the board of directors of the Real Estate Investment Advisory Council (REIAC) in Atlanta. REIAC serves as a forum for institutional investors, developers, lenders and advisors to discuss investment strategies, capital markets trends and other macro business issues.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Berry led regional asset management for Crocker Realty Trust where he also had acquisition and development responsibilities.
Prior to Crocker, Mr. Berry was Director of Asset Management with USF&G Realty Advisors where he focused on dispositions and asset management. Earlier, Mr. Berry worked with Bank of America and Trammell Crow Company.
