Paul Ahmed is a Senior Vice President with CBRE Capital Markets. Paul leads the Debt and Structured Finance Group for the CBRE South Florida Multifamily Team. Paul has structured over $10 billion in Capital Markets transactions over the last 20 years.
Paul Ahmed is an accomplished professional with an extensive knowledge of the commercial real estate lending market specializing in debt placement through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Life Insurance Companies and Banks. Throughout the course of his career, Mr. Ahmed has placed in excess of $10 billion in commercial real estate loans. Noteworthy Assignments include: Century Portfolio - $125 million (Fannie Mae), Elan Town Center - $41,160,00 (Life Company), Sun Lake - $49,687,000 (Fannie Mae), and Sabal Key - $41,134,000 (Freddie Mac). He has received numerous Production awards including “Top South Florida Dealmaker.”
Mr. Ahmed graduated from the University of Florida with a Business Degree in Finance and received his Master’s in Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University. He is an active member of the National Multi-Housing Council (NMHC) and Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). Mr. Ahmed also serves as a board trustee and past chair for the South Florida Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
