Nik Bex is a Vice President with CBRE’s Valuation and Advisory Services group serving the Midwest Region and based in Chicago, Illinois.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Bex was a production appraiser with a national firm where he performed a variety of appraisal and consulting services across a wide array of asset classes nationwide. Mr. Bex was previously an associate appraiser with two Chicagoland firms. His background includes the valuation of real estate for multiple applications, including: market value appraisals, portfolio valuations, market rent analyses, eminent domain, and ad valorem real estate tax assessment.
Mr. Bex has eight years of experience authoring appraisal reports on most types of existing and proposed industrial, office, residential, retail, and special purpose properties throughout the United States. As a member of the Multifamily Valuation Group, Mr. Bex focuses on the valuation of all types of market-rate and subsidized multi-family and mixed-use properties in the Chicago metro and throughout the Midwest. Assets appraised include Class A/high-rise properties in Chicago, suburban complexes, neighborhood/walk-up apartments, and mixed-use properties.
Clients served include Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac lenders, mortgage brokers, national and regional banks, CMBS and private-equity lenders, law firms, investments firms, REITS, pension funds, private corporations, municipalities, and government agencies.
