Matt is a member of the Cincinnati Multi-Market Advisory & Transaction Management Team. With a proven, client centric approach, he delivers multi-market advisory services to national retail and office space occupiers. Matt provides strategic planning, transactions management in a variety asset classes, account management and portfolio optimization programs for corporations.
For EG America and Macy’s, Matt serves as the client’s primary contact for transactions and leads a team of transaction professionals. His scope of work includes primarily retail site selection for Macy’s and managing EG America’s New-To-Industry store acquisition program in addition to surplus property dispositions and lease renewals for EG’s portfolio of 1,700+ properties.
In addition, Matt and his team manage the full scope of real estate transactions for Fifth Third Bank, Kroger’s 3rd Party Leasing and national dispositions, the surplus property sales and subleases for O’Reilly Auto Parts across the country, office leasing and renewals for Belcan Corporation. Matt and his team also execute strategic transaction execution programs ranging from lease restructuring, strategic acquisitions or relocations, M&A consulting, and surplus property dispositions for other national retailers throughout the United States. They complete over 250 transactions annually. Using a single point of contact model and providing a best-in-class field brokerage network are keys to managing these programs successfully.
Prior to joining the CBRE, Matt served in various Transaction Management roles with other firms including as the Account Lead for British Petroleum (BP) in Asia Pacific. Based in Singapore, he managed high profile office HQ relocations for BP in Jakarta, Indonesia and Mumbai, India for the Fortune 10 Energy Company. He started his career in brokerage before moving to Corporate Services and Transaction Management, where he began managing a national real estate portfolio for Humana.
