Professional Experience

Mark Silverman has worked with CBRE’s Tri-State Investment Properties team since 2013. Mr. Silverman brings to his team a strong background in capital markets and excels in both the analytical and business-development aspects of the commercial real estate business. Mr. Silverman specializes in the acquisition and disposition of urban multifamily and mixed-use product, as well as ground-up development. 

Mr. Silverman works on a highly personable level, utilizing lifelong relationships to build upon a growing line of business in the local and national market place. At a young age, Mr. Silverman has already sourced and closed a number of large-portfolio transactions in both Hudson and Essex counties. In addition to his work at CBRE, Mr. Silverman is also pursuing his master’s degree with a focus in Real Estate Finance and Development from Georgetown University.

Mr. Silverman comes from a real-estate oriented family. After graduating from the University of Miami, Mr. Silverman came under the mentorship of his uncle, Morry Silverman, a well-established commercial broker in the South Florida area. In 2013, Mr. Silverman relocated back to his hometown of Wyckoff, New Jersey to be closer to his family. Mr. Silverman is actively involved with alumni relations for the University of Miami in the New Jersey and New York area. In his spare time, Mr. Silverman is a health and fitness enthusiast.
