Lynn Trujillo joined CBRE’s Tampa office in July 2004 as an Assistant Real Estate Manager and was later promoted to Senior Real Estate Manager. She currently manages a portfolio consisting primarily of retail space. As a Senior Real Estate Manager, Lynn is responsible for owner communication, preparing monthly financial reports, preparation of annual property budgets, property inspections, operating expense reconciliations, vendor contracts, and lease administration. Further responsibilities include lease abstracts, accounts payable and accounts receivables, tenant relations, coordinating tenant and capital improvement projects, and property maintenance for her portfolio.
Lynn is also part of the Receivership and Distressed Asset team in Florida for all product types—office, retail and industrial. Lynn’s primary focus is quick stabilization for the Landlord and to ensure confidence of the tenant base. Lynn utilizes the CBRE Florida Preferred Provider Service Partner Network to assist in remedying deferred maintenance items and reduce operating expenses where available. Once stabilized, she works with the team to add value by partnering with brokers to capture new tenants, retain existing tenants, and/or market the asset for sale.
Prior to joining CBRE’s corporate office, Lynn was a Project Manager for eight and a half years for the executive suites operation located at Cypress Point Office Park. Her primary responsibilities included all leasing activity for the 67-unit executive suite park, managing the day-to-day operations including accounts payable and receivables, deposits, preparing monthly financial reports, preparing annual budgets, maintaining tenant lease files, purchasing and supervising the executive suites staff. She streamlined tenant accessibility to space, with an emphasis on satisfying for their specific needs.
