Professional Experience

Jerrold Harvey, MAI, MRICS, CCIM, Managing Director of the Valuation & Advisory Services Group in Washington DC, is responsible for all client valuation and consulting requirements in Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia. He has over 30 years of real estate valuation and consulting experience throughout the United States, specializing in the Washington DC, Baltimore, Richmond and Hampton Roads metropolitan areas. Clients include financial institutions, pension funds, developers, private and corporate entities, government entities and attorneys.

Mr. Harvey’s valuation expertise spans a wide variety of properties and markets, including office buildings, community retail centers, regional malls, industrial buildings, residential and commercial subdivisions, apartment buildings and hotels. He has considerable experience performing highest and best use and feasibility studies, cash flow sensitivity analysis, trade area analysis, appraisal report review, consultations, and litigation support for expert witness testimony. Mr. Harvey also has experience in commercial real estate leasing, sales and finance.

Prior to his affiliation with CBRE, Mr. Harvey established and managed Chase Manhattan Bank’s Mid-Atlantic real estate valuation department in Washington DC, directing the appraisal process for a portfolio in excess of $1.0 billion.
