Jerry is the direct manager of the central utility plant for Lexmark World Headquarters. He is personally responsible for making sure that the corporate headquarters is provided the right amount of steam, chilled water, and compressed air, to ensure daily operations. He works closely with the rest of the management team to meet the overall needs of the client. To that end, he is also responsible for the supervision of the site wide janitorial contract, certain building maintenance, and all roofing operations. Jerry also works helping with FM support at an Amazon Call Center.
As an Assistant Facility Manager, Jerry leads a very experienced team in providing 24/7 utility operations. The utility plant is considered vital in maintaining Lexmark’s worldwide operations, as the headquarters must always remain online to support operations in all areas of the world. Jerry also directly oversees the janitorial vendor, which is responsible for cleaning approximately 1.5 million square feet, 5 days a week. With all roofing responsibilities, Jerry is currently acting as Project Manager for an $800K reroofing capital project of three of Lexmark’s buildings. In addition, Jerry is responsible for building maintenance in a Lexmark building that is tenant occupied.
Jerry has more than 15 years of experience in construction, building maintenance, and operations management. Prior to joining CBRE, he spent time in Florida working for Madison Marquette LLP, as an Area Director of Operations for a Mixed Use Urban Retail Center. Jerry also has operations management experience with shopping malls and warehouse distribution centers.
