As Account Manager within CBRE’s Public Institutions & Education Solutions team, Jeff manages CBRE’s statewide real estate services contract with the State of New York. Embedded within New York State Office of General Services (OGS) in Albany, NY, Jeff provides transaction management support for NYS’s portfolio of over 500 leases spanning the State. On behalf of OGS, Jeff leads a team of CBRE leasing professionals supporting real estate transaction activities including, site selection, negotiating, recommending, and securing of leases and other specialized additional services as requested by OGS. The team has represented and advised OGS on over 80 transactions totaling over 2 million SF across New York State.
Prior to joining CBRE, Jeff worked in a variety of public and private institutions involved with large scale real estate portfolios. Most recently as Director of Real Estate for SUNY Empire State College, where he managed a nearly 300,0000 SF leased portfolio statewide and oversaw the site acquisition and construction of a 30,000 SF administrative and educational build-to-suit building in Rochester, NY. Earlier in his career, Jeff provided strategic planning for NYS’s $230 million acquisition of the James A. Farley Post Office Building in Midtown Manhattan and provided support for the Transit Oriented Development initiative while at New Jersey Transit.
