Mr. Standeford joined CBRE Capital Markets Debt & Structured Finance’s predecessor company, LJ Melody & Company, following the company’s 1998 purchase of North Coast Mortgage Company where he was a principal. Prior to the formation of North Coast Mortgage Company in 1991, he spent two years with Security Pacific Mortgage Company. Before his career in mortgage banking, Mr. Standeford was with Travelers Insurance Company for ten years.
Mr. Standeford has experience in all property types, with an emphasis on retail and office. He has worked with a large range of lenders including life insurance companies, banks, conduits, pension funds and agency lenders (Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae). Since 1998 Mr. Standeford has been involved in 180 debt/equity transactions that total over $2.85 billion.
