Professional Experience
Greg Greene joined the Dallas office of CBRE in 2003 after five years with Ernst & Young. Since that time, he has successfully sourced, structured, negotiated and closed hundreds of transactions. These include financing for office buildings, industrial facilities, medical office and various types of special purpose assets. He represents many institutional investors, public corporations and prominent developers. These credit based and asset based financings focus on the client's goals to provide the greatest combination of transaction structure, economics and risk reduction to the borrower.
Along with Scott Lewis, Greg leads one of the top commercial finance teams within CBRE nationally. This team of five professionals closed over $3.5 billion in financing with 39 different lenders in the three-year period ending December 2019.
Greg is a Certified Public Accountant and utilizes this expertise extensively as a mortgage broker. He is a Senior Member of the CBRE Institutional Properties group, a select team of CBRE professionals that focuses on large transactions for institutional clients. He is a frequent speaker on various real estate capital markets topics and co-authors various CBRE capital markets publications.
