Gordon Mazur is a Director with CBRE’s Property and Transaction Tax Services within the Valuation and Advisory Services Group based in Los Angeles serving Southern California. Gordon brings more than 30 years of property tax experience having been involved with a wide range of client services and management responsibilities.
Because of his experience, he has been able to identify opportunities in order to add value by reducing the property tax liability for a wide range of real estate assets form owner occupied industrial properties to large portfolios and specialized multi-use projects. Some of the services the property tax team provides include: pre-acquisition due diligence, assessment review for new base year values related to changes in ownership and new construction, appeal services for base year valuation and decline in value, tax budgeting and liability analysis.
Prior to joining CBRE, Gordon has been involved as a Principle of a boutique Southern California property tax firm, the Southwest Area Leader for a national property tax firm, the Southern California Practice Leader for a Big 5 accounting firm, and a manager of the REO property tax department for a global financial institution.
