Evan Haskell is an Executive Vice President* in the Agency Group in CBRE’s Midtown Manhattan office. Since joining the Agency Group 11 years ago, Mr. Haskell has been actively involved in all aspects of owner representation for institutional and entrepreneurial landlords, as well as sublandlords. He advises his clients in the arranging, structuring and negotiating of transactions utilizing his expertise in financial modeling, analysis and data collection, as well as the interpretation of market information, statistics, and pricing. His excellent communication skills and business acumen have only enhanced his ability to structure creative real estate solutions for complex situations as evidence by having been involved in the disposition of more than 5.3 million RSF of office space.
In 2016 alone, Mr. Haskell represented the landlords in the largest transaction in Manhattan, McGraw Hill Financial’s renewal at 55 Water Street, the largest relocation in Manhattan, Major League Baseball & MLB Advanced Media’s lease at 1271 Avenue of the Americas and the record-setting rent of Citadel’s lease at 425 Park Avenue.
Prior to joining the Agency Group, Mr. Haskell worked as an on-site leasing analyst for CBRE’s leasing team assigned to redevelop the Empire State Building. In this role, he was responsible for the creation and implementation of an aggressive space consolidation plan that led to the leasing of more than 600,000 square feet including the two largest deals in ESB history at the time: FDIC (103,000 SF) and Coty, Inc. (90,000 SF). In all, more than $300 million in new leases were completed and the tenant count was reduced from roughly 700 to 195.
