David Truong

David is a Finance Manager within CBRE’s Global Corporate Service platform. He leads all aspects of Finance and Accounting for the United Technologies Corporation (UTC) account in the U.S. He works closely with the Alliance Director, Facility Managers, and the Canadian UTC Portfolio Team to drive consistency and growth. Prior to UTC, David worked on the Fidelity Investments account, serving as a Senior Financial Analyst. 

As Finance Manager, David develops budgets, forecasting, and reporting tailored to the client’s specific needs. He created a financial model that forecasted $14 million in electricity expense for an entire portfolio, streamlined a monthly reporting tool to track actual spend compared to budget, and delivered meaningful analysis through ad-hoc reports to the client that became a standard monthly report.

Before entering the commercial real estate industry, David held roles at State Street Corporation and Crosswind Investments.
