Professional Experience
Christian Perez Giese has been an industrial real estate broker since 2002, working primarily along the Texas / Mexico border. His clients include global manufacturing firms and institutional investors with a presence in the United States and Mexico. The experience of working on both sides of the border provides Mr. Perez Giese with a diverse perspective on the regional economy and the drivers impacting the industrial market in El Paso and Cd. Juarez.
In 2010 Mr. Perez Giese took over as Director of the CBRE office in El Paso, Texas, covering El Paso, Cd. Juarez, Mexico and South Texas (McAllen, Laredo and Brownsville). He and his team have handled some of the largest and most complex industrial transactions in the region. With over 400 transactions totaling over 10 million square feet in the past five years, he is the most active industrial broker working along the US / Mexico border.
Mr. Perez Giese joined CBRE in 2010 as part of an acquisition where his previous team, TeamNAFTA (a former CBRE affiliate office), merged with the CBRE brand. He became managing partner of TeamNAFTA in 2008 and has served as Senior Vice President and Director of the CBRE office since 2010.
Mr. Perez Giese is actively involved in CBRE's Industrial & Logistics platform, where he is part of the Port Logistics Group, and previously served on the Industrial Advisory Council. He is also currently the Chair of CBRE's Hispanic Business Resource Group (HOLA) and is part of the Texas Leadership team. Mr. Perez Giese is part of El Paso’s COVID-19 Economy Recovery Taskforce and serves on several local boards. He moved to El Paso in 2002 to join CBRE / TeamNAFTA, from San Francisco. He grew up in Seattle but has long ties to the border region, working and traveling extensively across Mexico.
