Charles Dimmick, Jr. is responsible for developing project plans and implementation strategies for the design and construction of various sized Chubb office projects. Charles manages all aspects of projects including the preparation and tracking of project estimates and schedules, negotiating contracts and managing consultants to ensure each project is delivered on time and within budget. Recently completed projects include office relocations and consolidations in Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Indianapolis, and Denver. Current projects include the relocation of Chubb offices in Pittsburgh, New Haven, and Harrisburg.
Charles joined CBRE in October 2006 to manage the global project management services provided to the Avaya, Inc. account. Through 2008, projects managed by Charles and his team across the global portfolio included office and R&D fit outs in Mexico, India, China, Singapore, Australia, France and the US. Prior to joining CBRE, Charles was Account Director for Johnson Control’s account with Chemtura Corporation where he was responsible for Chemtura’s lease acquisitions/dispositions, lease administration, and project management. Mr. Dimmick successfully managed leasing and consolidation projects for offices in Antwerp, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Shanghai, Indiana & Connecticut, all affected by a major Chemtura corporate acquisition.
Charles’ professional experience also includes more than 25 years of corporate real estate assignments in real estate strategic planning, geographic master planning, project management, and facilities management while working for AT&T and Lucent Technologies. His last assignment with Lucent was in Nuremberg, Germany where he was responsible for real estate transactions, project management, and facility management for Lucent properties in Germany, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Hungary, and Austria. A key project was consolidation of 26 individual leases into a single lease with a 3-year $55M office & R&D fit out of 500K RSF (existing) and 250K RSF (new).
