Professional Experience


In over 34 years, Bob has leased and sold over 23 million square feet of space in more than 1,700 transactions with an aggregate value of over $2.2 billion. Focusing his efforts in the sale and leasing of commercial properties, Bob has been involved in the largest number of lease/sale transactions in the San Francisco Peninsula office from 1988-2020.

Bob has a comprehensive knowledge of both lease transactions as well as the sales market. He has established himself as a market leader and recognized expert in his marketplace. Bob has developed multiple long-term relationships with clients through his professionalism and market knowledge, and from 2005-2014 served as the Managing Director of the San Francisco Peninsula Office.

Bob is the recipient of the inaugural 2019 CBRE Cultural Leadership Award.

Bob was named to the 2005-2019 list of “Power Leasing and Sales Brokers” by the CoStarGroup. In 1990 and 1992 he was awarded the Northern California Industrial Division “Broker of the Year” by the Lincoln Property Company and in 1990 and 1999 received the San Mateo County Industrial “Broker of the Year” by the San Mateo Economic Development Council. Bob has consistently been a “Top Five” producer in the San Francisco Peninsula office.
