Professional Experience


Ms. Bailey began her professional real estate career as an analyst with Lend Lease in the Housing and Community Investment group in Boston, Massachusetts. In 2002, she transferred to Holliday Fenoglio Fowler (at the time a wholly owned subsidiary of Lend Lease) and relocated to Newport Beach, California. Bethany joined L. J. Melody & Company (predecessor to CBRE | Debt & Structured Finance) as an analyst in October 2003 and was promoted to Newport Beach’s loan production team in January 2007. 

Bethany specializes in multifamily loan originations, focusing on Agency Lending executions and management of the loan process during her tenure. Bethany has been instrumental in establishing the team’s execution process procedures which have allowed the team to efficiently and effectively manage their growing transaction volume. Drawing upon her servicing background, Bethany works in close partnership with the Loan Servicing department to ensure clients receive the optimal outcome on servicing related requests. Her contributions have been key in earning the team a reputation for certainty of execution and excellent customer service.
  
Bethany was recognized as CBRE’s Southern California Region Rookie of the Year for DSF in 2007 and has been a Regional Top 10 Performer for SoCal annually since 2008. Bethany has been included in the top 225 CBRE Professional in the Americas annually since 2010 and was named to the prestigious CBRE Colbert Coldwell Circle for the Americas in 2012. In 2014, Bethany was named to Real Estate Forum’s National “Top 50 under 40” for CRE professionals.  

Along with her partners, Troy Tegeler and Trevor Breaux, she currently executes an average of 97 deals per year. Since 2007, they have originated in excess of $18.50 billion, comprising nearly 203,000 multifamily units.  The team has previously earned the title of CBRE’s National Top Overall Multifamily Production Team of the Year and the Newport Beach office has been recognized by Freddie Mac as the Number One production office in the Western Region. The team was recognized as the top Fannie Mae production team for CBRE in 2017 and 2018.  In 2015, Bethany led the portfolio execution of a $1.651 billion portfolio comprising of 49 properties, representing both the team and the company’s largest multifamily transaction. In 2018, they closed 104 transactions with 19 lending sources.
