As CBRE’s Chief Marketing Officer, Benji Baer is responsible for developing a strategic marketing platform that is customer obsessed, data driven and adaptable to a changing industry landscape. She collaborates across the organization to build a distinct and valued CBRE experience from brand strategy to point of sale that helps drive business growth across all business segments.
Prior to joining CBRE in July 2019, Benji held a number of key positions at J.P. Morgan Chase, beginning as the firm’s first Chief Marketing Officer for Retirement. She worked closely to rebrand its Multi Asset Solutions team to evolve their value proposition and bring it to life through content and distinct programs. Benji went on to build a new Global Product Marketing team, responsible for developing an investment content strategy and managing asset class team partnerships. Most recently, Benji expanded her Product Marketing role to encompass the growing Wealth Management business.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Baer served as the Head of Americas Marketing at Legg Mason Global Asset Management, and Director, Brand Strategy and Communications at Legg Mason, and at its predecessor firm, Citigroup Asset Management.
She held senior marketing positions at AllianceBernstein where she led marketing strategy, global marketing communications, public relations and campaign planning. Ms. Baer resides in Westchester County, New York with her husband and three amazing daughters.
