Alice Fair is a First Vice President in CBRE’s Midtown Manhattan office. She works alongside Sacha Zarba, Vice Chairman and provides tenant representation and advisory services to clients, with an emphasis on high-growth technology and media clients. Alice is responsible for strategic client development and relationship management. A true collaborator, Alice partners with colleagues around the world to deliver consistent, measurably superior outcomes for clients at every stage of the lifecycle.
A client service-oriented professional, Alice fosters client’s real estate goals, while providing innovative “out of the box” solutions to challenging problems. Recently, Ms. Fair worked with a confidential rideshare company on their expanding presence in New York City. Their need for space began small and rapidly grew to over 300,000 SF—with no ceasing in sight. A tight market like New York City meant getting creative about space consolidation. With a deep and acute awareness of the client’s needs, data analysis, strategic marketing to key stakeholders and savvy negotiating, Alice and her team successfully illustrated to the client that its visionary culture would align perfectly with the team’s top building choice—a sustainable, state-of-the-art space that offered efficiency, ability to scale, multiple transit options and lifestyle amenities to attract the very best talent in one of the nation’s most competitive technology markets.
Alice began her career at CBRE in 2015 on the Wheel Program and in five short years, her expertise runs deep in traditional leases but also in re-negotiating leases, renewals, subleasing, office market research and uncovering off-market space opportunities.
Outside of the office, Alice enjoys exploring the travel, food, art and design worlds—and draws upon them for her work. She always finds inspiration in her most important role as mom to her two-year-old son and newborn daughter. Alice is passionate about mentoring young women and offering advice that she never had access to in the early part of her career. Alice volunteers with nonprofit organization, Pencil.org with a mission to bring equity of opportunity to the young people of New York City, especially children of color disproportionately affected by inequity. The COVID-19 pandemic is disproportionately affecting people of color and those who come from economically challenged backgrounds in New York. This summer, Alice is hosting a virtual internship for Pencil students to provide Black and Brown students with the mentorship, skills, and opportunities necessary for success.
A native of Leeds, Alice attended the University of London, studying during her sophomore year at Robins School of Business in Richmond, Virginia.
