Phoenix – December 1, 2016 – BOMA Greater Phoenix recognizes distinction in building management annually by awarding outstanding projects with The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) awards. Two CBRE managed properties were honored with TOBY awards for 2016, reflecting the firm’s ongoing commitment to excellence in property management and building performance.
Anchor Centre, located at 2201 E. Camelback Road in Phoenix, Arizona, was the winner of the 250,000 – 499,999 sq. ft. category. The building owner is KBS Realty Advisors. Managing the building is a CBRE team led by Senior Real Estate Manager Julie Martens. Members of the property management team include Real Estate Manager Kathryn Jacobs, Real Estate Services Administrator Louisa Falline, Chief Engineer Erin Bates, Building Engineer Mike Pawelkop, Maintenance Technician Keith Riley and Associate Director Tawnya Peirce.
Raintree Corporate Center III, located at 8800 E Raintree Drive in Scottsdale, Arizona, was the winner of the 100,000 – 249,000 sq. ft. category. The building is owned by Equus Capital Partners and iStar, Inc. Managing the building is a CBRE team comprised of Real Estate Manager Logan Mather, Assistant Real Estate Manager Kayla Chester, Building Engineer Dan Munson and Associate Director Janet Rampton.

BOMA’s TOBY program involves comprehensive assessments of each building’s operation by a number of judges in order to decide award winners. Special attention was paid to life safety, security, risk mitigation, community involvement, site management, operational strategy and successful execution of “green” policies. BOMA Greater Phoenix presented the awards at a ceremony hosted at the Arizona Biltmore.
