Hilti Campus wins Deal of the Year
TULSA – April 28, 2016 – CBRE professionals were involved in several transaction awards that were presented at the 2015 NAIOP Deals Awards Gala. The annual event honors the top commercial real estate projects in the Tulsa area from the previous year, as well as the key professionals who made them happen.
CBRE professionals were involved in several transaction awards, including:
Deal of the Year: Hilti Campus, Adam Rumsey, Angela West, Bob Pielsticker and Matt Reese
CBRE sold the Hilti Campus to the Educational Development Center and Hilti leased back 180,000 square feet of office space to house its North America Operations Center that includes customer service, accounting, training. Located at 5404 S. 122 East Avenue, the remaining 221,000-square-feet property will house Educational Development Center’s new headquarters, including a 180,000-square-foot warehouse operation.
Industrial Sale of the Year: Tulsa Industrial Portfolio, David Glasgow, Matt Kilmisch and Tom O’Brien
Tenmark Industrial purchased a 523,624 square-foot industrial portfolio from TPRF Tulsa Industrial, LLC. The portfolio includes the Expressway Distribution Center, East 52nd Street Warehouse, South 70th E Avenue Warehouse and the Henshaw Business Park.
Industrial Lease of the Year: 1700 W. Reno, David Glasgow, Matt Kilmisch and Tom O’Brien
OSECO, Inc. entered into a long-term, build-to-suit lease at 1700 W. Reno in Broken Arrow.
Land Sale of the Year: Costco Land, Ben Ganzkow and Richard Monaghan
Costco Wholesale Corporation entered the Tulsa market by opening its first location at Memorial Drive and 103rd Street. The 148,000 square-foot building is the first Costco location in Oklahoma.
Retail Sale of the Year: Tulsa Retail Center, Caitlin Boewe and Lindsey Morehead
TSG Tulsa Retail, LLC purchased a 123,850 square-foot Tulsa Retail Center from State Tulsa Retail Holdings LLC. Tulsa Retail Center is located on East 71st Street between Mingo and Memorial. The center is situated in a regional shopping destination just east of Woodland Hills Mall, a Simon Mall. Co-Tenants include Golf Galaxy, Dollar Tree, Sprint, Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage, Sola Salon and Ashley Furniture Home Store.
