CBRE Opens State-of-the-Art Suburban Philadelphia Office in Radnor, PA

Radnor Workplace 360 Office

Radnor, Pa.- March 2, 2018 - CBRE announced the opening of a new, state-of-the-art office in Radnor, Pennsylvania. The 25,735-sq.-ft. office, located at 555 E. Lancaster Avenue, is part of CBRE's global "Workplace360" initiative, the company's leading-edge approach to workplace strategy designed to promote flexibility, mobility and productivity through technology-enabled, 100 percent free-address and paperless offices.

The new office will house approximately 130 employees, all of whom have relocated from the company's former location in Wayne. 

"In the short time the new office has been open, we have already seen a tremendous sense of collaboration and connectivity among our employees," said Robert Walters, Executive Managing Director, CBRE. "Many of our clients who have had the chance to visit have been equally impressed with the environment and the technology available throughout the space." 

"As evidenced in more than 60 Workplace360 offices around the globe, this new way of working is also a formidable differentiator in recruiting and retaining industry-leading talent," Mr. Walters added. 

The office features a variety of work settings - a balance of both collaborative and private spaces - from which employees can self-select depending on the project at hand. Radnor employees have access to 108 workstations, six conference rooms, eight "offices for a day," seven huddle rooms and 15 focus rooms.

Enhanced technology that supports this mobile way of working is a core element of every Workplace360 office. Set up for plug-and-play, work stations are equipped with dual monitors and "follow-me" phones, and employees can adjust the height of the workstation to sit or stand with a touch of a button. The office is also outfitted with technology that allows employees to share and access files from home, a coffee shop or anywhere in the world.

CBRE's Scott Miller, Rija Beares, James Kelley and Michaela Malloy represented the firm in the lease transaction. CBRE leveraged its Workplace team for design and implementation along with its local Project Management team, led by Darrell Schuler and Scott Allen, for construction and move management.
