Former Starbucks in-house real estate manager joins robust urban retail agency and occupier team
Chicago – June 15, 2015 – CBRE announced today that Phillip Golding has joined the firm’s Urban Retail group as a vice president.
Golding brings a strong background in retail strategy and transactions to the firm, most recently at Starbucks Coffee Company as Store Development Manager where he was responsible for all new stores, relocations and real estate strategy in Illinois and Wisconsin. Throughout his time with Starbucks, he oversaw the opening of over 100 new stores and coordinated all aspects of site selection, lease negotiation, design and construction. During that time, he simultaneously reduced occupancy costs by over $7 million and helped shape the evenings and drive-thru programs.

Phillip holds a bachelor of arts with a focus in psychology and business from Skidmore College and a certificate in Financial Decision Making from the University of Chicago, Graham School of Continuing Liberal and Professional Studies.
