Kevin Hatcher has joined CBRE as Senior Vice President of Industrial & Logistics in Oakland. Mr. Hatcher is widely recognized as a top industrial real estate professional in the East Bay market.
Mr. Hatcher will work closely with professionals in CBRE’s East Bay Industrial group, including Bob Ferraro and Mike Barry. He reports to David Brennan, Senior Managing Director of CBRE’s Sacramento, Central Valley and Northern Nevada offices who also leads CBRE’s Industrial & Logistics practice in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest.
“With the Oakland industrial market ending Q2 2017 with a record low vacancy rate at 1.7 percent, and the market maintaining an 18-quarter streak of positive net absorption, continued construction and increased demand demonstrate both tenants’ and investors’ confidence in the strength of the market,” Mr. Brennan said. “Kevin Hatcher’s addition reinforces our commitment to continue to build out our robust industrial team to meet this rapidly growing demand in the East Bay.”
Mr. Hatcher has advised owners, developers and occupiers on site selection, feasibility and valuation strategies with the goal of providing clients with a consistently high level of accurate and timely guidance. He excels in all facets of the real estate asset cycle including identifying target assets; providing rigorous financial modeling and analysis; and entitling, marketing, leasing and selling Investor and Occupier assets.
Mr. Hatcher has completed over 500 lease and sale transactions with total consideration exceeding $3 billion. His clients have included The Sobrato Organization, Overton Moore, LaSalle Investment Management, Industrial Property Trust, Stockbridge, Terreno Realty Corporation, Prologis, Clarion Partners and Westcore Properties.
Before joining CBRE, Mr. Hatcher was an executive vice president with Colliers International. Prior to joining Colliers in 2009, Mr. Hatcher was a principal with ACF Partners. Mr. Hatcher also was previously vice president of institutional sales at Credit Suisse First Boston in both its New York and San Francisco offices.

He is a Founding Member of the Rugby Opportunity Fund (“ROF”) which provides funding and opportunity for “at risk” youth committed to academic and athletic excellence.
