Sheridan, Co. (March 22, 2016) – CBRE Group, Inc., announced today that the firm completed a transaction of the former home of Ft. Logan Elementary located at 3700 South Knox Court in Sheridan, Colorado. The former structure was no longer functional as an elementary school and the entire property will be redeveloped into affordable housing by Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver. The property sale closed March 15, 2016, for a price of $1 million.
CBRE’s First Vice Presidents Eric Roth and Martin Roth with CBRE’s Land Services represented the seller, Sheridan School District.
“We engaged in an extensive marketing process for this property back in 2014 and were thrilled to see Habitat for Humanity show interest,” said Eric Roth, first vice president, CBRE Land Services. “We were equally excited to see the school district was supportive of this buyer and identified that the proposed project could truly benefit the community and change lives. This is one of the more impactful projects our team will work on in our careers, and we are endeared that many deserving families will have an opportunity for home ownership in such a welcoming community.”
