CHICAGO – October 17, 2016 – The Chicago office of CBRE has announced that it assisted DSP Acquisitions, LLC in the sale of a 206,150-square-foot industrial space at 6123-6227 Monroe Court in Morton Grove, Ill., to 6227 Monroe Court, LLC.
Zach Graham, Ryan Bain and Tom Harmon represented the buyer. The seller was self-represented.
The property sits on a 9.33-acre site, 1.7 miles away from I-94/Dempster. 6123-6227 Monroe Court features major renovations including new offices, landscaping, windows, parking lot and HVAC system.
While the property is currently 100% leased, the exterior, designed originally to look like a castle, will require a significant overhaul. Dayton Street’s two million interior and exterior renovation campaign will modernize the façade and also improve existing conditions. In addition to the new exterior renovation, plans call for installing a new roof, adding brand new T-8 lighting and upgrading loading docks and landscaping. Dayton Street will also demolish several metal out-buildings to make room for 1.5 acres of secured parking/trailer storage.
