In a transaction arranged by CBRE, national interactive fitness platform Peloton Interactive has inked a 156,068 sq. ft. industrial lease at 1500 Blair Road in Carteret, New Jersey. The company, which offers cutting-edge workout bikes for indoor cycling as well as other fitness related instruments, will utilize the space as a warehouse/distribution and fulfillment center.
The CBRE team of Scott Belfer and Lou Belfer negotiated the long-term lease transaction on behalf of Peloton Interactive. Additionally, CBRE’s Thomas Monahan, Stephen D’Amato, Larry Schiffenhaus, Anastasia Lazarides, Lauren Griffith and Gerard Monahan represented the building ownership, AEW.“Peloton Interactive needed a state-of-the-art warehouse and distribution facility with convenient access to the New Jersey Turnpike that was also in close proximity to New York City and near a robust labor pool,” said Scott Belfer, Senior Vice President, CBRE. “1500 Blair Road fit our client’s requirements perfectly and its location was a key factor in its decision to commit to a long-term lease for the entire complex.”
