CBRE announced today that Brad Wilmot has joined CBRE Capital Markets’ Debt & Structured Finance team as an Executive Vice President.
Based in the firm’s downtown Los Angeles office, Mr. Wilmot will enhance CBRE’s presence in the large commercial loan space. An accomplished commercial real estate finance executive with more than 25 years of experience, Mr. Wilmot has an extensive background in originating, structuring and closing loans across all major asset classes in markets located in North America.
Throughout his career, he has been involved in the origination and closing of over $15 billion in commercial real estate loans. Mr. Wilmot will coordinate with existing DSF team members in the large loan space, focusing on both institutional and middle market clients.
He will also help to further facilitate collaboration with CBRE Capital Markets’ Investment Properties team in Southern California. Mr. Wilmot will report to Jeff Majewski, Executive Managing Director, CBRE Capital Markets.

Mr. Wilmot joins CBRE from Goldman Sachs where he most recently served as Regional Director for the firm’s Real Estate Finance Group. During his tenure at Goldman Sachs, he established the firm’s real estate lending practice in Los Angeles and was responsible for the origination, structuring and securitization of large and conduit CMBS loans, as well as non-recourse loans for the firm’s balance sheet. Previously, he was a Managing Director and Head of West Coast Originations for Wells Fargo Bank where he was responsible for all large loan originations in the western region. Prior to this, he was Executive Director and Western Region Head for JP Morgan’s CMBS Lending Group.
Mr. Wilmot is a graduate of California State University with a focus on Finance and Real Estate Business Administration
