Real estate professional and community civic leader recognized for supporting the future of design in Chicago
CHICAGO – April 26, 2016 – CBRE is honored to announce that Bob Wislow, Chairman, received the Legacy Award from the Chicago Architecture Foundation (CAF) at their 41st Annual Gala.
The CAF Legacy Award recognizes professional accomplishments and civic leadership in the City of Chicago.
“In recognition of Bob’s professional achievements, his untiring devotion to the City and his role in making CAF the remarkable institution it is today, we are proud to acknowledge him as a consummate leader,” said Lynn Osmond, president and CEO of the Chicago Architecture Foundation.
Wislow is an avid arts supporter and longtime dedicated steward for civic engagement in Chicago, serving on the boards of many organizations and institutions, including the Chicago Library Foundation, Rush University Medical Center, Museum of Contemporary Photography, Columbia College, and as former Chair of the Chamber of Commerce; the only real estate professional to hold that position.
“Bob’s contributions to the city of Chicago and his leadership in our community is incredibly impressive,” said Jim Carris, senior managing director for CBRE. “This well-deserved recognition reflects the type of person that he is and recognizes the important contributions he has made to Chicago. We are proud to call him our chairman, partner and friend.”
