To lead employees in philanthropic efforts at the local level in a way that both represents and serves the ideals of the CBRE Chicago community. The Committee’s main source of fundraising is its Charity Bash held every fall, which is open to CBRE employees, clients and colleagues. Through funds raised from our annual charity bash the philanthropy committee has donated nearly $1M since the committee’s inception in 2008.
2018 promises to be a great year for the CBRE Chicago Philanthropic Committee and its charitable efforts. The Committee has just completed its strategic session and looks forward to develop new ways to grow benevolent support for the CBRE Chicago Community. Thank you to continued members and welcome to the new members of the 2018 Philanthropic Committee!
Goals and Objectives
Facilitate disbursement of donations through the CBRE Cares Foundation
Any CBRE employee who has personally contributed funds, to a local charitable organization 501(c)(3) is eligible to request a donation from the committee.
Develop and implement programs to support the charitable needs of our community
We will work to expand our relationship with Finkl Academy, our Chicago Public School partner, IFL and BBBS.
Host fundraising events efforts to support our local philanthropic programs
Watch for fundraising events to be announced throughout the year. We will also help spread the word about area charitable events our CBRE employees plan to attend.
Communicate with Chicago Area employees about charitable events and giving opportunities
