As an Analyst on the Americas Research team, Wei Luo works closely with CBRE’s national leaders and market professionals to provide institution quality, in-depth research and analysis on the latest trends and influences shaping the commercial real estate investment world. Wei is mainly responsible for tracking retail, capital markets and economic fundamentals in the Americas region, through data collection, consolidation, analysis and interpretation. Internally she supports CBRE’s regional research teams on an aggregated level and authors market reports, while externally she responds to various research requests from CBRE’s clients.
Wei has taken several roles within CBRE. She joined the company in June 2014 as part of an initiative of the Central PA Industrial team to build and apply Google Earth database. She then moved to take up a role as Retail Researcher in Philadelphia, focusing on the formation of a Retail research platform that organizes and validates market information for the Greater Philadelphia region. She supported approximately 45 retail brokers as well as their clients with statistical analysis and a wide range of deliverables.
Prior to joining CBRE, Wei graduated from the Penn State University with highest distinction from the Schreyer Honors College in May 2014. Wei obtained a degree in Economics and a minor in Business with an emphasis on Real Estate. Her interest and passion in real estate developed from working with real estate companies and regional Development Authorities as a college student through a variety of academic practices.
